Answering The Call:
The year was 2000. The call came in. I picked it up. "Hello?"
"Bryan? This is God, I am wanting you to use your talent of comedy for me."
"Me? A gay Christian comedian? I don't think so."
I hung up!
The year is 2009. The calling still hasn't stopped. I picked up the phone. Instead of saying hello, I sat on the line not saying a word.
"You don't need to speak", the voice on the other end said. "You are now at a loss. All of your career options have ended, life is becoming increasinly harder, do you know when your next meal will come? Isn't it about time you answered this call? It's been 9 years...and I am still waiting for great things...and so are you! The time is now."
